DMI started from Douglas Machining Inc., which pioneered pallet design and manufacturing for Tektronix back in 1985.  Bill and Glenn Hawkins purchased the business in 1988; expanding the product lines, improving machine capabilities, and focusing on customer service helped the business to grow 10-fold over the years.  Then, early in 2006, Raj Savara purchased DMI International, focusing on the potential of expanding product lines.  Bill Hawkins is still providing technical assistance for our customers.
